SOME LIKE IT HOT

SOME LIKE IT HOT:

It's an american comedy filmed in 1959 and directed by Billy Wilder. Some of the actors that star in the film are Marylin Monroe (Sugar), Jack Lemmon (Jerry) and Tony Curtis (Joe).
The film has won a lot of awards such as two Golden Globes, one to the best actress (Marylin) and one to the best actor (Jack); a BAFTA award to the best foreign actor (Jack) and a SAGA awards to the best comedy.

The film is set in the 1929 (during the dry law) in Chicago. Jerry and Joe are two musicians that saw a man being killed because of a fight between two gangs on the Valentine's day. They had to run away and to avoid getting attrapped by the gang they join a band formed by girls. To do that they dressed up as girls and theyu change their name to Josephine (Joe) and Daphne (Jerry). They both fall in love with the leader of the band, Sugar. The band is in a train in the way to Miami, and when they arrived there Joe dresses up as another character, Junior and tries to seduce Sugar by telling her that he is an important bussines man (and he seduces her). Meanwhile a billionaire man, Oswood, falls in love with Jerry (thinking that he is a woman) and tries to get merried with him (he proposes to him). At the end of the movie Joe and Jerry ended up witnessing another crime and tehy have to run away again. Before they run away Joe kisses Sugar and she discovers that he is Junior and Josephine and he runs away with them too (Oswood goes with them too).

It was a funny movie and it didn't have any specific or philosophical meaning because it was just to have a fun time. I think that if you like comedies or classics you'll enjoy this movie.
